Artsy has created the world s largest two-sided art marketplace, offering more than 1 million works by 100,000 artists from 4,000 leading galleries, fairs, auction houses, and institutions across 190 countries.

Artsy is the leading marketplace to discover, buy and sell fine art. We envision a future where everyone is moved by art every day. To get there, we re expanding the art market across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region to support more artists and their works.

Our team in APAC drives customer success with gallery partners and contributes to Artsy s financial targets by delivering upsell revenue and acquiring artwork supply for the marketplace. We are looking for an experienced leader to coach a team, while simultaneously helping us gain greater exposure in the region. This role reports to the Associate Director, EMEA and APAC who is based in London.

What You ll Do:

  • Manage and develop a team of 3-4 Account Executives in APAC, driving YOY growth
  • Provide regular hands-on sales coaching across the team and support for key accounts.
  • Create and implement local and global sales strategy in partnership with Artsy s sales leadership team through informed data and analysis.
  • Build relationships with major partners and art associations in the region
  • Partner cross-functionally with B2B Marketing, Sales Enablement and Sales Operations to deliver key results.
  • This position is based in either Hong Kong, Japan, or Korea

Who You Are:

  • A leader with proven track record of managing a team that consistently meets ambitious targets
  • A people person who can inspire both internal and external partners
  • Data driven - you can make strategic recommendations based on extensive data analysis
  • A strong communicator with the ability to influence global cross-team collaborators such as Marketing and Sales Ops
  • Professional fluency in English and at least 1 additional language (preferably Japanese, Chinese or Korean)
  • You are based in Hong Kong, Seoul, Tokyo or willing to relocate

What Success Looks Like In This Role:

  • 3 Months: You have learned Artsy internal systems, built close bonds with your team and developed an APAC sales strategy (with the global leadership team) for 2022
  • 6 Month: You have supported and improved growth of the APAC team and have started to see traction with the APAC sales strategy created
  • 12 Months: You have become the face of Artsy throughout APAC, being a trusted advisor for some of the largest partners you have engaged, while developing your team to deliver even better results from their gallery partners.
