Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

Position Name:Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

Qualification:

• Provision underlying infrastructure to deploy a Kubernetes cluster
• Installation & Configuration of Kubernetes in On-premise air-gaped environments
• Patching and redeployment of applications on a Kubernetes cluster
• Will be responsible to build and maintain web, virtual, and client server environments for the enterprise Kubernetes
• Expected to troubleshoot and resolve any IT service issues related to operating systems, Kubernetes and servers; Partner with the other infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve related issues.
• Implement etc. backup and restore
• Extensive experience in configuring applications with persistent storage
• Hands on experience in creating and managing storage classes, persistent volumes, persistent volume claims primitive
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills in evaluating cluster, Monitoring applications, application failure, cluster component failure & Networking
• Experience in deployments and performing rolling update and rollbacks
• Knowledge on Config Maps and Secrets to configure applications
• Basic understanding on DNS, Active Directory (Windows AD that manages Linux users)
• Understand host networking configuration on the cluster nodes
• Knowledge on setting up Ingress controllers and Ingress resources
• Hardening of Kubernetes cluster
• Basic knowledge in installing and configuration of Nexus antifactory software
• Experience in identity and access management software products like key cloak and AUTH proxy
• Hands on experience in setting up AD to authenticate Linux users

Preferred Qualification:

• Kubernetes (resource with Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) is preferred)
• English/Japanese communication level capabilities
