Job Description

  1. to analyse the deeper causes of vandalism and violence, taking into account legal frameworks (pertaining to violence/corporal punishment at home and at school) and existing studies, developing them further with a key focus on societal determinants for specific behaviour patterns, and differentiating between the key target groups (i)students; (ii) teachers; (iii) school management; (iv) parents; and (v) school communities. The Consultant is also required to, where possible, analyse and assess causes of vandalism and violence before and after the COVID 19 pandemic, outline the insights and causes of exacerbation due to the emergency;

  2. to consult with all key target groups in a participatory manner, giving them an opportunity to reflect on reasons of (own) vandalism and violence, to develop ideas leading to prevention of such, and to propose ways of fostering self-awareness;
