- Ensure the shipment readiness, dispatch from origin, clearance at customs and delivery to the destination is done effectively and efficiently.
- Control procedural and regulatory customs compliance of the shipment to ensure its adherence with policies and procedures and report non-compliant cases.
- Identify areas of improvement in freight forwarding, clearance, delivery and insurance business processes.
- Solve and fix logistical issues and come with alternative solutions in due time and work on case studies and business simulations.
- Benchmark and evaluate rates between different logistics providers and update the management with the outcomes accordingly.
- Ensure expected level of customer service is delivered and maintained and that internal customers are satisfied by meeting all internal SLA’s and by following up on requests in a timely manner.
- Assist in managing and developing team members to ensure that the department has the required knowledge and efficiency.
