  1. Representsthe school’s mission and vision in all aspects of work.
  2. Engagescontinuously in professional development opportunities, through external training or self-learning techniques. Maintains advanced knowledge in the field of education to serve as an educational leader for staff and stays up to date through continuous professional development.
  3. Engageswith the education community and the IBO to remain up-to-date with new trends and advancements. Determines the potential of incorporating these advancements at Amman Academy.
  4. Assists the programme coordinator and stage principal to ensurethat the stage meets the IB program standards and practices and all Ministry of Education requirements and policies.
  5. Attendsmanagement committee meetings, subject coordinators meetings, and individual parents’ meetings.
  6. Assists in the managementof the stage office to liaise between AA administration, students and parents and handles all relevant communication with different department offices.
  7. Remains informedby the primary principal about staff attendance using attendance reports prepared by the HR department. Takes all necessary coaching and disciplinary measures required for corrective action in consultation with the principal.
  8. Actsas an inspirational leader to ensure a high level of staff and student morale.
  9. Conducts and coordinatesannounced and unannounced class visits with and without the subject coordinator. When relevant, discusses the visits with the subject coordinator. Provides frequent, relevant, and documented feedback to teachers for the purpose of performance improvement, specifically new staff members.
  10. Contributesto the professional development of staff in collaboration with the programme coordinator through internal and external training. Suggests suitable training programs to meet staff members’ professional needs and growth
