- Provide evidence-based psychological assistance to support clients and their families with mental health and psychosocial issues.
- Remain up to date on and provide evidence-based psychological interventions and advances in the field of psychology.
- Remain up to date with professional development opportunities.
- Support other psychologists and Case workers as part of a peer supervision model.
- Assist the case management teams in improving forms, care plans and mapping of community support services.
- Take on team coaching and mentoring of team members.
- Organize the development of initial care plan with focus on any immediate safety concerns.
- Participate in case conferences, supervision and training opportunities.
- Develop and deliver trainings for staff on topics relevant to psychological practice, lay counselling and case management.
- Develop care plans that are individualized and mutually developed with the client.
