- Document existing processes, policies & procedures
- Assess processes, take measurements, and interpret data
- Work with the relevant stakeholders to design and upgrade processes
- Develop best practices and innovative solutions to improve efficiency and quality of output
- Track metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor upgrades
- Provide instructions for successful implementation of process changes
- Communicate findings and proposals to upper management
- Utilize process simulation software to test and find the most appropriate production strategies
- Create and prioritize technical requirements in collaboration with key stakeholders and technical teams
