- Assist in provision for planned technology upgrades for network, systems and applications; including servers and WAN/LAN; and maintain and ensure availability and capacity of existing network, systems and applications (core services) in coordination with the Global User Support.
- Install, configure, implement and administer network connectivity (LAN/WAN/Wireless access points/VPN/Servers (physical and virtual) in line with latest IOM ICT standard.
- In close coordination with global team, assist in provision of planned technology upgrades for network, systems and applications; including servers network equipment ((on-premises and Cloud), WAN, and LAN; Maintain and ensure availability and consistent service of existing network, systems and applications (core services).
- Undertake daily monitoring and maintenance of systems and networks (LAN, WAN, VPN, VOIP), carry out analysis performance identify problems of network, systems and recommend solutions to enhance functionality, reliability, and/or usability to ensure uninterrupted service of mission-critical servers and systems.
- Contribute to the Backup and Disaster Recovery Plans for mission databases and other ICT related services. Manage and monitor completion and accuracy of server’s backup sets and other procedures to ensure that ICT BCP and Mission Disaster recovery plans are documented, tested and ready for implemented.
