- Provide needed transport to the medical team to fulfil their assignments.
- Provide transport to beneficiaries from/to different locations at different governorates in Jordan and on daily basis;
- Driving office vehicle for the transport of authorized personnel to and from meetings, making sure that the IOM vehicle is only used for official/authorized business;
- Deliver and collect mail, documents and other items to and from other UN Agencies, Institutions, Ministries or Embassies;
- Alert supervisor about the vehicle maintenance plans and ensure proper day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicles through timely minor repairs, arrangements for major repairs, timely changes of oil, check of tires, brakes, car cleaning, etc. ;
- Ensure that all safety regulations, security operating procedures are followed;
- In coordination with the senior driver, ensure availability in a safe place and the validity of all the required documents/supplies in the vehicle, including updated vehicle insurance, vehicle logs, office directory, map of the city/country, ready-to use first aid medical kit, and necessary spare parts
- Ensures that all immediate actions required by rules and regulations are taken in case of involvement in accident and report the accident to the closest police station and duly inform United Nations Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS);
