Job Description

- Supports more senior members of the team in screening deals and evaluating opportunities.
- Leads deals with oversight of more senior members of the team: pitches opportunities to Investment Committee. Performs due diligence and prepares reports to be presented to the IC on potential deals through researching potential competitors and gathering information from industry experts.
- Supports more senior members of the team in negotiating terms of investment and works closely with internal and external legal counsel to execute deal documents.
- Develops an “informed perspective” of assigned sectors, including managing and building brand and relationships with: VC firms, startup accelerators, founders, and other members of the venture ecosystem.
- Attends and occasionally has conferences and outreach events and activities targeting the entrepreneurial ecosystem of VCs and startups.
- Maintains good relationship with colleagues in different departments at Hikma to engage them in diligence and execution of pilots.
- Coordinates between portfolio companies and Hikma colleagues to implement pilots and partnerships.
- Assists in the preparation of presentations to be presented to the IC including updates on portfolio companies, pipeline opportunities, strategy, financials, trends, and news.
