SUMMARY

It's Pixel Perfect Limited is looking for a Senior Developer (SD) to join their team, working directly with their Chief Technical Officer and Leadership Team, to propel the team to new levels of development and innovation to disrupt the technological market within their industry

Must have a passion for technology and communicate it well to stakeholders of varying expertise. A keen problem-solver who will tackle hard problems, with a combination of tools & analytics, to see a project through to completion. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be on the frontline and boost their experience with cutting-edge technologies as they help shape the direction the company takes when creating backend solutions. Lastly, the successful candidate will get the opportunity to work on some of the most prominent market leading brands in the Caribbean.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for the effective leadership and development of a multidisciplinary team of Full Stack and AI Developers, internally and externally, to execute client projects.
2. Foster development opportunities for other coders to become better in these languages, WordPress, PHP, Laravel, React (NextJS, GatsbyJS, React Native).
3. Ensure the highest quality in coding (clean code, eg. zero bugs) as well as the management and support of ongoing project builds, infrastructures and environments.
4. Adhere to project timelines, utilizing agile/scrum/project management best practices. As such, it is the incumbent's responsibility to ensure that website development projects do not exceed 4 weeks.
5. Suggest one new technology per quarter, that would give the company added advantage. This will include the delivery time of technical projects within budget (Planning full product development with timelines)
6. Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, designers, and content writers to understand and gather technical requirements.

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in web development with Front-end and Back-end frameworks
• Experience with managing multiple projects concurrently
• Experience in a leadership role
• Good collaboration, time management and documentation skills
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Expert in PHP object-oriented programming & MVC applications
• Proficient in Data Structures, Cloud Functions, API integrations
• Proficient in authoring JavaScript and using libraries such as jQuery
• Proficient in web services integrations (REST/SOAP)
• Proficient in a large arsenal of open source and cutting-edge technologies such as Node.js, React.js, Vue.js, PHP, Express.js, MongoDB and MySQL
• Experience with mobile application development
• Experience in CMS-driven web publishing (WordPress, Drupal, Magento etc.)
• Experience with cloud platforms, AWS, Google, Azure
• Experience using version control systems, Git preferred
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Experience with Scrum software such as Asana, JIRA, Trello
• Experience with automated deployment strategies (CI/CD) is a plus
• Experience with Linux-based systems administration is a plus
• Experience with Quality Assurance management processes is a plus
• Supervisory management certification is a plus
