Job Description
- Able to work independently as well as with a team on a project.
- Ensure code quality, coding standards and documentation of the project.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Perform peer code reviews and ensure proper testing of the application before delivery.
- Actively participate in design & code reviews to build robust applications and features.
- Ensure timely delivery of the sprints and milestones, hence the product.
- Ensure code versioning and branching of the repositories.
- Carry out daily development tasks on a timely basis.
- Perform unit testing on all the allocated projects
- Fixing the bugs reported by testers.
- Propose new methodologies, best practices for further discussion with Leads.
- Exhibit ownership and leadership skills required to become an indispensable part of the engineering team and culture
- Lead by example, mentor, and guide team members on everything from structured problem solving to the development of best practices.
Requirements
- 3+years of experience in developing applications in Node
- Excellent programming skills in Node.
- Proficient with Databases like PostgreSQL/MySQL.
- Experience in building scalable, highly critical software systems.
- Strong OOPS concepts, and ability to apply design patterns for a strong code base.
- Experience with working on highly interdependent and complex multi-services architecture.
- Experience in working on highly concurrent multithreaded applications with a keen eye on system performance and throughput.
- Good understanding of system performance trade-offs, load balancing, and engineering for high availability.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good understanding of data structures and algorithms and their space and time complexities.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills and the ability to articulate architectural details to stakeholders at different levels (executive, technical and non-technical) through UML diagrams, crisp documentation and white-boarding as required.
- Helping in hiring talents and growing the team.
- Leading projects and collaborating with team in a way that ensures best quality.
- Improving overall efficiency and team productivity by introducing new methodologies and ideas in the team.
- Working on R&D and employing innovative technologies in the company.
- Streamlining processes which will result in saving time and cost optimization
