Role Overview:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join McAfee as an IT Service Desk Technician and influence the shape and future of the IT Service Desk from day one. In this role, you will have influence on future new hires, define policies and procedures, and build this new service desk from scratch. You will also respond to customer and client requests or events as they occur.

This is a remote position in India. We will only consider candidates currently in India and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

About the role


You will be providing L1 support to members of staff and communicating with users across all offices, over the phone, via email and instant messaging platforms.

responsible for the distribution, installation, operations, and troubleshooting of the site distributed computing environment.

participate in hardware/software projects and deployment plans.

We analyse work group systems and recommend solutions.

Execute production processes and perform and manage server/environmental changes.

Manage virus protection procedures on the server.


About You:


You should have a bachelor's degree in computer science and experience with Windows 10, OS X, and mobile devices (Android, iOS).

You should have excellent communication skills as you will work in helpdesk ticketing environment.

Exposure to ITIL Policies and Procedures, specifically Incident, Request, Knowledge, and Problem Management, will be an advantage.

Knowledge of Office 365 Administration and 365 ApplicationsWord, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
