Job Description Provide technical writing for the creation and development of documentation in accordance with the client’s standards, processes, and guidelines. The documentation can consist of standard operating procedures, work instructions, training information, test plans, project and/or communications-related documentation, etc. Deliverables: • Create and develop documentation, typically involving the assimilation of technical materials and components, according to the engagement scope, project, and/or initiative requirements. • Gather all relevant and required information by participating in meetings, conducting interviews, and utilizing document repositories/data sources • Participate in IT, process, and service design meetings with relevant SMEs (Subject Matter Experts). • Assist in planning a of technical documentation, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality based on compliance to the ITIL standard. • Gather relevant IT, process, service, and support information from SMEs. • Provide guidance and suggestions to SMEs on document improvement. • Review all related information and incorporate into agreed document format. • Deliver quality documentation, which is easily understood, concise, comprehensive, accurate, and delivered in a timely manner and correct systems. • Adhere to all client document lifecycle management and compliance standards. • Provide communications, status updates, and reports as they relate to service activities. • Assist in identification of discrepancies, gaps in current IT, processes, services, and deliverables. • Review and edit technical writing by other team members to maintain clarity, consistency, and quality. • Incorporate all information into required IT, process, and service definition documents, support policies, work instructions, user documents, training guides, and other relevant documents. • Communicate and escalate risks to the appropriate stakeholders in a timely and effective manner
