Front Office Manager ( 4 * HOTEL) Waterford
The Front Office Manager will provide high quality guest services ensuring that guests feel welcome from the moment they step into the hotel to the moment they leave. A naturally warm and engaging person with a strong drive to always go beyond to ensure that the guest experience is superb.

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of Reception/Guest Relations and working with the team in delivering excellent guest care, ensuring that they are actively anticipating the business and dealing with it accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to:
Ensure the day-to-day operations are carried out in line with department and Hotel standards.
Ensure a professional, friendly and courteous service.
Coordinate the daily work and activities of the team.
Ensure that guest requests and preferences are delivered.
To work with the team to ensure the days business is communicated accordingly and orderly handover is communicated.
To ensure that the reception team are competently trained and that standards and performance are monitored.
To ensure the correct handling and charging of all daily business accounts.
To promote sales and to actively engage with guests.
Promote a sense of team spirit and a positive working atmosphere within the department and with all other departments.
To actively manage house limit checks, credit card authorisation, following correct procedures regarding city ledger accounts, petty cash, and adjustments etc.
Work varying shifts up to 5 days per week
Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum of 4 years experience within the hospitality industry in 4 and or 5 star properties.
Opera experience advantageous.
Excellent IT, Communication, Interpersonal and Organisational skills.
Have the drive and enthusiasm to achieve excellence.
Be standards driven.
Display a strong background in reservations.
Recognised professional qualification desirable.
An outgoing and cheerful personality.
Decision-making, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in English, multilingualism will be considered an asset.
Highly responsible and reliable with a professional presentation.
