DevOps Engineer

Job Description

MELD is the world's first decentralized, non-custodial protocol offering fiat & cryptocurrency lending & borrowing solutions, built on the Cardano blockchain. We are a friendly, fast growing, fast moving company.
At MELD, you will work in our agile crypto technology team to develop the largest gateway between the traditional world of fiat money and the new world of cryptocurrencies, connecting the two worlds within one app.
You will contribute to delivering the team's latest work to the end users, and maintain a high level of stability and security of the product and the infrastructure.

Key Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in mission critical DevOps
• Bachelor's or higher degree in technical field of study or equivalent work experience (or not if you are a badass!)
• Extensive experience working with Linux in production environments
• Excellent troubleshooting and creative problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and oral communication in English and interpersonal skills
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab Runner, )
• Good understanding of best security practices
• Experience with Docker and orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Nomad )
• Experience with Ansible or a similar server automation tool
• Strong interest in crypto and fintech
  

Your Responsibilities

• Build CI/CD pipelines, staging and production environments
• Set up monitoring and logging infrastructure, incident detection and alerting
• Ensure our systems are secure and reliable
• Run database migrations
• Detect performance issues and collaborate with the rest of the team on solving them
• Provision the infrastructure ensuring our systems have enough resources to run smoothly
• Implement resiliency, failovers and high-availability infrastructure
• Make sure the team can peacefully sleep at night
