Software Developer

SUMMARY:

Design, develop and support user friendly and robust solutions by programming, implementing, and maintaining both web based and custom applications which would enhance service delivery capabilities. Also translate approved innovative ideas and business needs into a customer oriented application(s), promoting superior service brand.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Analyze user requirements, design, develop and implement web and network applications, user interfaces/ systems using the best design methodologies and tool sets, achieving deadlines.

Write new codes/applications as well as improve on existing ones, making our web applications more efficient keeping ahead of competition.

Create innovative technology solutions, web and multimedia applications for mobile devices and across multiple environments/operating platforms.

Integrate applications and to existing systems, designing database architecture and server scripting where necessary, establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers.

Manage, Troubleshoot and Support both existing and new applications.

Test to spot any bugs in (the) programming codes, bug fixing and ensuring the efficiency of the program/applications.

Maintain detailed System and technical documentation

Enhance organization reputation through efficient service delivery, delivering on user requests with added value.

Record work progress on a weekly basis and contribute to the teams development.

Skills:

Web User Interface Design, E-commerce integration skills, Web Programming Skills, Software development, Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Multimedia Content Development, Software Debugging, Technical Competence , Written and verbal communication in English language.

The Ability to take abstract concepts and create technical solutions is very important.

Qualifications & Related Experience

A minimum qualification of 1st degree

Proven experience with Microsoft .NET technologies including, ASP.NET, ADO.NET

Languages: C#, VB.Net, SQL/T-SQL, JavaScript/DHTML, VBScript, HTML, XML

Visual Studio and or related application

Websites development using a Content Management System (CMS), PHP and MySQL

Front end UI design
