Job Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and driven individual to join our demand and planning team within the portfolio office function. We partner with business leaders across Arm understand business requirements, develop achievable plans, and deliver strategic change.
As a superb communicator with an eye for detail, you will own the way in which Arm prioritises, estimates, and plans IT projects with its partners. Working across a variety of exciting change programmes, you will thrive in fast-paced environment, and be comfortable making decisions on limited information.Responsibilities:
Owns the end-to-end process for estimating, planning, and securing people and budgets across all change initiatives
Continually improves this process in line with internal requirements at a balanced pace, as well as embedding it within portfolio teams.
Owns the tools and documents required to support this process, and mentors other members of the team to utilise these tools.
Works closely with people at all levels of the organisation to ensure estimates of effort and budgets are both realistic, and sustainable.
Supports senior leadership to ensure timely decisions can be made on supplier allocation, and that estimates and plans are submitted to schedule.
Provides input to strategic decisions around third party suppliers, helping to ensure the way we work with our partners is fit-for-purpose and can contribute to successful outcomes for the organisation.Required Skills and Experience :
Highly-developed presentation skills, comfortable holding the attention of VP-level partners
Sophisticated knowledge of estimation techniques, and experience of applying them to real-world scenarios
Demonstrable experience of successfully developing and embedding new ways of working
Deep understanding of project, programme, and/or portfolio management methodologies
Excellent problem-solving ability
Flexibility to structure and prioritise your own work
Ability to learn new concepts and skills quickly
Expert user of the MS Office suite, especially ExcelNice To Have Skills and Experience :
Working as part of a globally distributed team
Experience of working on enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Success Factors, SAP S/4HANA, and SitecoreIn Return:
