This is a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Manager/ Business Services Manager to join a highly reputable multi sited firm of chartered accountants in Sussex. Based in Chichester, you will lead and manage a highly successful business services team. You will be offered a flexible working pattern, where you will service a growing and very exciting client base.
Our client is a well-known accounting firm, one of the market leaders in Sussex. They have an excellent reputation across the South and wider regions. Their clients range from small start up businesses through to significantly sized national and international groups. They provide a wide range of accounting services from payroll, bookkeeping and VAT through to accounts, tax, audit and further advisory services.
Your responsibility will be for:
- Managing a mixed client portfolio including small to large limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
- Managing the output of the team with regards to accounts, management accounts, bookkeeping and VAT preparation.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients and assisting them with advice a queries.
- Reviewing the work of more junior staff and advising them on issues prior to Partner review.
- Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients through networking and business development.
- Working with other members in the Business Services team and other departments to provide high-quality client service.
Requirements
- You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 5 years experience within practice.
- You will have worked as a Team Leader/ Client Manager/ Manager within a practice environment and have hands on experience of accounts, management accounts, tax and VAT.
- Experience of Cloud Accounting software would be advantageous- Xero, QuickBooks.

- Our client is offering a highly competitive salary and remuneration package in the region of 45,000- 55,000.
