Bridge for Billions, as one of the largest entrepreneurship networks in the world, creates, designs, and manages innovation programs with foundations, corporations, and public entities that have benefited more than 2900 entrepreneurs in more than 99 countries. Its objective is to facilitate access to entrepreneurial support for all types of entrepreneurs with a common purpose: to boost innovation that solves the problems that truly matter, generate economic growth, and new decent job opportunities. Bridge for Billions, recognized by Forbes 30 Under 30, Ashoka, and Acumen, has worked with more than 100 organizations such as Coca-Cola, Accenture or BMW, and institutions such as the United Nations in the development of entrepreneurship programs that support diverse entrepreneurs in the creation of innovative solutions for today s most pressing issues.

In 6 years, Bridge has grown to a team of 29 people from 13 nationalities, with headquarters in Madrid, where most of our team is based; an emerging LatAm HQ in Antigua, Guatemala, with a few team members; and a few people based in different places around the world. We will likely end the year 2022 as a team of 40 people.

Tasks

JOB MISSION

After more than 220 programs run and 2500 entrepreneurs supported in 98 countries with the support of 3000+ volunteer mentors, we want to accelerate our understanding of our user's and client's needs (B2B clients, Program Managers, Entrepreneurs, Mentors, Investors ) and speed up the evolution of the product and experience to meet their needs. Your job mission at Bridge for Billions is to innovate, develop and maintain our Product, collaborating closely with Designers, Researchers, and other Developers to help us achieve the Business objectives. This means developing Front-end features in an agile environment and bringing new ideas and solutions to solve our users issues.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

These are the required skills that we are looking for to achieve your missing in this job opportunity:

  • Professional spoken English.
  • +2 years of professional front-end development experience.
  • A passion for clean code and hot new front-end technologies.
  • React JS experience is required.
  • Knowledge of new Javascript ES6 and CSS libraries (Sass, styled components...).
  • Good knowledge of git and GitHub.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

...and these are the nice-to-have ones that you can also bring:

  • Have worked with Redux and Redux-sagas
  • Experience with front-end tests (Jest)
  • Used to deal with APIs and a good understanding of how they are built.
  • How to improve Web applications performance
  • Mobile experience (React Native or similar)

OFFER AND LOCATION

Transparent salaries and fair compensation structure, mid-range for the social sector:

  • Compensation of 25,000 - 35,000 per year, depending on profile.
  • $200 Referral Bonus. If you bring someone you know to the team you will get $100 bonus at hire + $100 additional after 6 month
  • Location: Madrid
  • Start date: As soon as we find the right person.
