Language Quality Leader (remote position)

Topcontent is a content and translations company that provides both of these services to clients across various industries in over 30 languages. Topcontent works with a team of freelancers to deliver these requirements to our clients.

This role is fully responsible for the delivery of high end quality content and translations across all our languages and clients.

This role will be for you if you absolutely love working within deadlines, are super organised and focused and have a great ability to multi-task and coordinate projects. You are also obsessed with quality and you love working and supporting your amazing colleagues!

Tasks

Your main responsibilities will be:

1. Create and be in charge of the ongoing management of a structured quality improvement process.
2. Analysing potential issues associated with quality and implementing the appropriate corrective processes: training courses/materials, etc.
3. Managing, updating and improving our knowledge base
4. Handling quality requests from the client/internal sales

You will be communicating with:

• Management team
• Community Manager for onboarding and activating freelancers
• Project Managers for quality assurance delivery of projects
• Freelancers (writers, proofreaders and translators)
• Clients/Sales team (where required)

Communication will mainly be done via email and slack. Whilst this role will have flexible working hours, prompt (immediate) responses in slack (and email) will be required.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Fluent in English (knowing Swedish or Norwegian is a big advantage).
• Two years experience within the content and translation industry
• Knowledge of SEO is an added advantage
• Experience in Quality assurance is an advantage
• Experience working with translation memory tools is an advantage
• Fluent in English (knowing Swedish or Norwegian is a big advantage).
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Excellent computer skills: G Suite, iCloud.
• Data analytic skills (excellent knowledge of using excel sheets)
• Based in Europe and available to travel for quarterly meet ups

Benefits

Renumeration & Benefits:

A salary between 25,000 and 30,000 EURO will be negotiated depending on experience. Whist the candidate will benefit from flexibility in their own working hours, they will mainly need to be available during standard business hours between Monday to Friday.

We are a remote first organisation and anyone joining will be on a self-employment contract. Further details will be shared at the first stage.
