Job Description

• Implement business and IT data requirements through new data strategies and designs across SQL Server data platform and Power BI data tools for reporting and visualization.
• Work with business and solution teams to implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual/logical/physical data models using Azure Analysis Service (AAS) or SQL Server Analysis Service (SSAS)
• Define and govern data modeling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related development for enterprise data models.
• Identify the architecture, infrastructure, and interfaces to data sources, tools supporting automated data loads, security concerns, analytic models, and data visualization.
• Work proactively and independently to address project requirements and articulate issues/challenges to reduce project delivery risks.

Job Requirements

You should have

• +3 years of experience as BI Developer
• Hands-on modeling, design, configuration, installation, performance tuning, and sandbox POC.
• Adept at the use of BI reporting tools such as (Power BI) and (Tableau is nice to have)
• Understanding data modeling, data schemas (normalized, flat, star, snowflake, etc.).
• Understanding database operations and optimization for Microsoft SQL Server, (Oracle DB is nice to have)
• Understanding data and query optimization, query profiling, and query performance monitoring tools and techniques.
• Creating and maintaining business requirements and other technical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of SSRS, SSAS, or is a must.
• Strong T-SQL is mandatory, and MDX.
• Integrated Power BI reports with React Js, Angular or C#
• AAS or SSAS is mandatory

• Strong T-SQL is mandatory, MDX, (DAX, PL-SQL are nice to have)
