- Responsible to translate documentation from Arabic to English, from English to Arabic as needed.
- Review and adjust proofread translations
- Follow ethical codes that protect data and information.
- Identify and resolve conflicts related to the meanings of words and concepts.
- Check translations technical terms and related sources to be sure that the translated documents are accurate and consistent throughout translation.
- Refer to reference materials such as dictionaries, lexicons, encyclopedias, and computerised terminology banks as needed to be sure that translation process is accurate
- Support and maintain relationships with internal customers.
- Establishing a terminology database to be used in translation projects.
- Perform other tasks as required by management
Requirements
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Languages and Translationor relevant
- Translating from and to Arabic / English.
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role
- Effective communication (written and verbal), able to build trusting relationships
- Proficient User of MS office
What it is nice to have:
- Translating from and to Arabic / English / French within the E-commerce industry is nice-to-have
- Master s degree in Languages & Translation will be nice-to-have
