Senior Merchandiser- Textile

Job Description

• Costing and negotiating with customers about the prices.
• Identifying and confirming Product specifications with the customer.
• Work closely with the planning department for allocating capacity.
• Creating T&A + Gant for every single order.
• Creation of fabric DO Externally.
• Follow up with the development coordinator on daily tasks.
• Follow up on color and quality lab testing and results (internal and external).
• Collaborating with customers to negotiate prices, quantities, and time-scales.
• Work as a coordinator between production and QC departments and Customers to insure the best practice and a smooth operation.
• Weekly WIP report review.
• Analyzing sales figures, customer's reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs.
• A weekly conference call with customers.
• Monthly P&L preparation + Forecast
• Remain up to date with the industry’s best practices.
• Reporting the OTD (on time delivery) to the top management on semi-monthly basis.
• Receive the complains from the Customer and take the correction action to avoid repeating the Problems.
• Make all necessary analysis reports and statistics about the progress of the assigned projects including forecast sales, updated product specifications, etc..

Job Requirements

• Textiles / Garment Manufacturingbackground is Must
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Advanced planning and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
