Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

• Managingcloud infrastructure in a production environment to ensure high availability and reliability
• Responsiblefor IT infrastructure services including; active directory, email, portal, network, security, connectivity.
• Ensurethe stability and reliability of the entire Group data centers for head office, branches and projects’ sites.
• LeadIT technical support team and IT helpdesk tickets.
• Increasecustomer satisfaction. Effectively monitor delivery of service for achieving high satisfaction levels under ITIL Standard.
• Install,configureoperation andsupportof all IT Infrastructure Systems to enable continuous operation of all IT Systems and to ensure they function with the required performance and availability targets.
• Testandevaluatenew technologies.
• Responsiblefor the deployment, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of UNION GROUP IT Infrastructure including Data center, LAN, Wi-Fi, WAN, Internet, Telephony and Security.
• Responsiblefor Microsoft Infrastructure services like Cluster, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, SQL Database, Email System and File & Print Service.
• Ensure,backupandrestoreall data are backed up according to Backup Policy.
• Responsiblefor all IT Network equipment in HQ and remote sites including Core Switches, Servers Switches, User Switches, Routers, Load Balancers, Wireless Bridges, Wi-Fi Access Points, Network cables, Network Connections and network security.
• Responsiblefor all Voice equipment in HQ and remote sites including Telephony Systems, & Voice Conferencing.
• Ensurecompliance with best practices, and policies and procedures.
• Maintaininventory for all Network Equipment.
• Createandmaintaingood technical documentation.
• Develop,maintain, andmonitorprocedures for all network tasks.
• Implementsecurity improvements by assessing current situation and evaluating trends.
• Monitorthe system daily and respond quickly to any security breaches or usability concerns.
• Managesystem infrastructure including, AD, Office 356, Azure and VMware VSphere

Job Requirements

• Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• 5 to 7yearsof experience
• 2+ years of experience administering an Azure based infrastructure
• ITIL is plus
• Understanding of cloud services offerings such as SaaS, IaaS, PaaS and DRaas.
• Solid knowledge Cisco firewalls , and FortiGate
• Deep understanding of core Microsoft cloud technologies and Azure services with a focus on IaaS and Office 365.
• Solid knowledge of Data Backup/Restore on Exec Appliance and Tape drive.
• Solid knowledge with network and collaboration components.
• Basic knowledge in SQL database administration
• Good knowledge in Linux
