Senior Infection Control Specialist

Job Description

• Analysis and interpretation of collected infection control data
• Investigation and surveillance of suspected outbreaks of infection
• Planning, implementation and evaluation of infection prevention and control measures
• Education of individuals about infection risk, prevention and control
• Development and revision of infection control policies and procedures
• Management of infection prevention and control activities.
• Identify need areas for education of staff
• Involved in reviewing and updating infection control policies in conjunction with infection control specialist
• Carry out random environmental surveys and complete reports to identified problems
• Hospital rounds to ensure employees compliance to the infection control rules
• Involved in surveillance systems and information reporting through daily round activity
• Complete the necessary documentation on a routine basis as specified.

Job Requirements

• Medicine, Dentistry or Pharmacy degree
• 2 years of experience in infection control
• Certified professional in infection control
• Proficiency in computer skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent statistical analysis skills
