Job Description

  • Maintain an accurate inventory of computer hardware and software that belongs to the Emaar Misr.
  • Order parts, equipment software and supplies through warranty or purchase order agreements as needed or directed by IT management.
  • Accept requests for assistance or problem reports from users.
  • Obtain necessary information from users to adequately describe the request or problem report.
  • Enter information into the problem tracking system.
  • Directly respond to the request or problem if within own areas of expertise.
  • Complete information on problem reports that were solved personally and close report in problem tracking system.
  • Liaison with user to ensure that requests or problem reports have been satisfactorily handled.
  • Maintains library of all implemented software and related licenses.

Job Requirements

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or relevant.
  • Strong adequate experience in a relevant industry or field.

Experience:

  • From 3 to 5 years of experience as IT help desk.
  • Adequate experience in a relevant industry or field.
  • Previous experience in adhering to deadlines.
  • Previous experience in being a multitasker in terms of dealing with different service requests.
  • Experience working with IT Help Desk Ticketing System

Skills &Competencies:

  • Full technical ability and proficiency with the relevant software and hardware.
  • Ability to work independently whilst maintaining confidentiality.
  • Extremely detail oriented and result-oriented
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize workflow.
  • High standards of ethics and confidentiality to handle sensitive information.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal).
  • Ability to integrate well into teams & work towards achieving team results.
  • Ability to communicate and interact within departments to achieve the desired results.
  • Shows continuous improvement by taking initiatives and accepting responsibilities.
