Security Leader

Job Description

• Ensure that the security operation runs strictly and according to the Aramex security standards and policies to protect & secure customer assets/shipments.
• Investigating any security incidents that occurred involving customer interests
• Collaborate with the team to achieve its objective
• Managing the security supervisors
• Manage outsourced security officers and security guards
• Facilitate the flow of information horizontally and vertically
• Ensure all staff under your supervision are trained to deal with emergency situations and document cases with HR team
• Ensuring all security and safety measures are in place to effectively secure and protect all people (customers/employees) in Aramex premises and facilities Initial registration, investigation and conclusion of incidents and/or accidents reported and communicate to Direct Manager.
• Ensure all systems e.g. CCTV, DVR’s monitors, access controls are in working order.
• Assist in pre-operational risk assessments on new sites and design risk mitigation measures.
• Ensure regular emergency response exercises and drills are conducted to ensure the highest level of preparedness in any emergency.
• Maintains records of such drills, providing recommendations for emergency response improvements Ensure all non-routine jobs, maintenance, work at height and high risk jobs are carried out only after obtaining valid work permit.
• Scrutinize the work permit for any deficiency and notify the same to CCTV Controller to appoint security guard to monitor the work activities Monitoring the CCTV controllers to ensure that they are performing their tasks properly in order to ensure people are protected 24/7 from any suspicious activity Conducting daily rounds in and around the facility to identify any possible security flaw and completing security patrol checklist for the facility.
• Ensure that access to the property, building and assets are properly controlled for visitors and employees.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with the related local authorities e.g. civil defense and local police so that they can provide prompt and dedicated assistance whenever necessary Encourage all employees to report any unsafe acts, conditions, hazardous situations and participate in Health and safety matters and to make HSE Suggestions.

Job Requirements

• SecurityOperation Experience not less than 7 years.
• At least 4 years of Supervisor Experience.
• Corporate Security Experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree Holder.
• knowledge of Physical Security, Security Systems, Guard Force Management, Control Room, and Risk Assessments are preferred.
• Must be able to develop and implement Physical Security best practices, Standards, Policies, and Procedures.
• Must have effective Management, Communication, Technical Writing, Presentation, and Organizational Skills.
• Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual and stressful circumstances.
• Customer Oriented.
• Position requires demonstrated Integrity, Honesty, and Poise.
