Sample Room Manager - Ready Made Garment

About the Job

• Responsible for the samples schedule and meeting the delivery dates.
• Follow up the samples starting from sample creation until production lines are fed.
• Responsible for the planning, scheduling, prioritizing and the flow of samples in the sample room from pattern making to finishing garments.
• Creating pattern and following it from specifications anddeveloping the created pattern to a production pattern.
• Leading sample room team of sewing workers, garment technicians to complete customer demanded samples and meeting customer requirements and schedule.
• Responsible for evaluating and approving all samples starting from development, fitting, adjustment and approval.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Applied arts - Home Economics or any other equivalent education.
• High Experience in Gerber system.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Sample Room manager and a 5-10 years total experience.
• Excellent command of English.
• Good command of Microsoft Office (Excel- Word- PowerPoint).
• Very good Leadership skills.
• Understanding of costing and consumption principles.
• Adequate experience in patron creation.
• Very good knowledge of fabric behavior.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various departments.
