Turing is looking for a remote Senior DevOps Engineer on behalf of an emerging Fintech start-up offering various digital services in a single all-purpose primary account. The engineer will work primarily with the team as a founding member to shape and support the vision, daily operations, and company culture. The company is developing a digital financial platform that delivers several features, including plus checking, savings, and term loan features. The candidate will collaborate across teams to develop new features and deploy cloud infrastructures to power the mobile, cloud, and AI first solutions. Job Responsibilities:
- Play a critical role as a founding member of the engineering team in shaping and supporting several functions
- Design, develop, test, and deploy the latest cloud infrastructures from the ground up to power applications
- Define and influence the architecture, design, and deployment of products
- Take ownership of the end to end delivery of software components from inception through to production
- Design and deliver customer-facing features
- Tackle customer issues and offer technical guidance
- Deliver creative technical solutions with a positive impact on products and customers
- Collaborate across departments to design new features and applications
- Work closely with cross-functional agile teams to evaluate and code review software
- Excel in a growth mindset culture while leveraging opportunities to learn, discover and grow
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps engineer
- Must be experienced with AWS, Python, and Java
- Experience in Azure and GCP is nice to have
- Willingness to learn new things and deliver impactful software solutions
- The ability to uphold a bold, passionate, and creative thinking attitude
