A.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage, coach and develop the Formulation Specialists reporting to him/her
- Assign and monitor progress of the Formulation day-to-day tasks
- Act as a reference junior Formulation Specialists to ensure second-line readiness and fulfilling team ambition and job satisfaction
- Design and Execute Formulation & Process development activities, including excipient selection, process optimization, scale up and validation
- Drive the resolution of technical challenges in a timely fashion
- Interact, support and work cross-functionally with peers from different departments to ensure the overall projects are delivered on time against the detailed set plans
- Manage interactions with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide analytical testing support to ongoing formulation and development stability studies
- Collaborate with external partners to design and influence experimental work at partners for formulation development
- Solve problems encountered during large scale production
- Oversee documentation and reporting all formulation trials
- Perform the analysis of new products and prepares the experiments necessary and samples for stability, export & bio-equivalence studies.
- Preparing final stability reports through the given input of the team
- Ensure productivity is sufficient to meet time constraints established for current procedures and processes
- Draft governing policies and their related functional SOPs
- Report incidents or observation concerning equipment, utility, method, product or procedure and any other relevant item in the R&D department
Job Requirements
B.Qualification/Knowledge/Experience:
- Level of Education:B.Sc. in Pharmacy is essential. Post graduate vis-a-vis qualifications is desired (e..g. cGMP, MBA, etc)
- Experience:Previous experience of Pharmaceutical manufacturing and R & D supervisory role is mandated
- Language:Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- English fluency essential
- IT Literacy:Professional computer and MS-Office skills
