Quantity Surveyor Engineer

Job Description

• Surveying project quantities.
• Preparing the project bill of quantity.Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project
• Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
• Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
• Procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project
• Measure and value the work done on site
• Pay subcontractors
• Liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers
• Select and/or source construction materials
• Write reports.
• Revise quantity takeoff sheets (constructed quantities on site) submitted by the contractor
• Revise and approve contractor's monthly/Interim payment certificate, Invoice and Payment
• Review of contractors' VOs (Variation Orders) in term of quantities.
• Studying the project contract documents for Bill of quantities, payment terms and related contractual issues
• Monitor contractors' agreements according to delivery documents
• review contract price resulting from change orders and actual executed quantities
• Evaluating materials on site for the purpose of the payment certificate as well as assisting PM/CM in preparing the monthly progress report

Job Requirements

• Very Good Command of English
• Bachelor degree in engineering- Civil /Architectural division.
• Excellent Auto Cad
• analytical skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Negotiation & reporting skills.
