Chitosan•Egypt is looking to hire a Plant Pathology & Pesticide researcher for a 6 WEEK INTERNSHIP! [mostly work from home due to COVID19 ]

If you’ve got a bachelor degree in pathology or pesticide and have got a passion for research & analysing complex ideas to turn them into insight this is your calling!

Internship details:

• Research & collect data on the latest global trends in biopesticide product development across a diversity of product categories, pests, & crops
• Articulate & foster insight reports into pathogen-plant-pesticide interactions
• Analysis and formulation of statistics and reports on findings regarding the active compounds, mode of action, target pests, target crops, commercial products
• Extracting, collecting and processing information from various credible sources
• Collaborate with the R&D team to build criteria for the collection, filtration & segregation of research for more market-focused

The intern will learn:

• Pesticide product development basics
• Market-focused research techniques
• Data collection resources & methods
• Data analysis & reporting
• Data visualisation
• A certificate of experience & recommendation letter from Chitosan Egypt for the internship

Internship Requirements

• Fresh Graduate withBachelor Degree in plant pathology/pesticides from faculty of Agriculture
• Talented researcher that is keen on learning new ways to find, extract & articulate data
• Passionate about organic agriculture & pesticides
• Good command of English for research & writing
• Good communication skills and time-management skills.
• Good writing, editing and proofreading skills
• Creative thinker and generate ideas outside the box
• Passion & willingness to learn new ideas, research techniques and gain new knowledge
