Mechanical Engineer

About the Job

• Responsible for implementing the production plan and permanent presence inside the ward to follow up the mechanical works in the factory.
• Responsible for reviewing and implementing engineering drawings related to mechanics after being approved by the line manager (head of the mechanic's department) in accordance with the timetable specified by the production manager.
• Responsible for following up the disbursement of the production process balances from the warehouse or following up the purchase order before starting the manufacturing phase.
• Follow up the receipt of raw materials from the store (several - tools - raw materials).
• Responsible for following up with the technicians and carrying out the daily work assignments and preparing the daily report for the department head.
• Responsible for implementing preventive maintenance work for each machine and preparing the technical report on the technical condition separately.
• Responsible for handing over the mechanical works to the line manager and working to raise, train and develop technicians within the department in a professional manner.
• Responsible for preparing and submitting the technical report on the production processes that have been completed within the department according to the timetable.
• Responsible for following the executive procedures related to occupational safety and health.
• Direct coordination with the installations department for the production process.
• Effective communication with the administrations arranged in the production process or the administrative departments.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an Egyptian university
• Practical experience: 1-3 years' experience in the same field (iron industries).
• The skill of communicating with technicians and assistants.
• English: very good, spoken and written at least.
• Computer: Good knowledge of engineering graphics programs
• Professional team leadership and direction skills.
• Supervision and follow-up skills for the work team.
• Skills of reviewing and checking data.
• Writing reports professionally.
