Job Description

  • Establish, execute & enforce internal controls and accounting policies & procedures for Inventory across the organization
  • Ensure Inventory statutory requirements and auditing policies are met
  • Ensure reporting requirements are met for Inventory • Ongoing drive for simplification & automation
  • Develop & maintain inventory analysis reports and analyzing variances
  • Verifying accurate standard costs • Inventory provisioning in relation to slow moving and obsolete inventory
  • Containers reconciliationpostingaging • Monthly deductiondetention report with verification
  • Monthly reconciliation of branch transfer account (Movement and costing)
  • Follow up on paid container deposits and refunds • Custom duty calculations and verificationreconciliations • Ensures invoices are properly coded to the appropriate expense or balance sheet account.
  • Ensure monthly inter-company balances are fully reconciled • Monthly, quarterly & year end close process

Job Requirements

  • Experience in ERP System
  • Excellent in Excel
  • Males Only.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • From 3 to 5 years of experience in the same field
  • Textile background is preferred
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Accountant Skills and Qualifications:Accounting, Corporate Finance, Reporting Skills, Attention to Detail, Deadline-Oriented, Reporting Research Results, SFAS Rules, Confidentiality, Time Management, Data Entry Management, General Math SkillsTo be successful in this role, you must have experience:Supply Management, Informing Others, Tracking Budget Expenses, Delegation, Staffing, Managing Processes, Supervision, Developing Standards, Promoting Process Improvement, Inventory Control, Reporting Skills
  • Advanced computer (Excel) skills.
  • Hiopos or Cloud systems experience.
