Job Description:

We are looking for a methodical Market Research Analyst to survey the African agricultural market in terms of market factors & dynamics in order to deliver in-depth insight for future expansion activities. The talented market researcher shall be able to analyze autonomously qualitative data, trends, strategies and competition aiming at informing better market-readiness during expansion.

Responsibilities

• Collect data on consumers, competitors and market place and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations
• Understand business objectives
• Compile and analyze statistical data [using tools such as MS excel]
• Perform valid and reliable market research analysis
• Use online market research and catalogue findings to databases
• Evaluate research methodology and key data to ensure that data is accurate
• Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties researches and implement best practices
• Headhunt & connect with active local consultants in strategic African destinations to further understand & test expansion plans
• Convert complex data and findings into understandable tables, graphs, and written reports
• Attend Online events regarding African market opportunities to further understanding

Internship Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 YearMarket Research Analysisexperience
• Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• basic knowledge of Excel, databases and MS Office
• Search engines, web analytics and business research tools knowledge
• Working knowledge of data collection, analysing & categorising
• Strong analytical and critical thinking
• BS degree in International Agriculture [Credit system] or Agriculture Biotechnology
• Professional Spoken & written English
