HVAC Engineer

About the Job

• Responsible for meeting the firm’s mechanical engineering quality levels on assigned projects
• Conduct and/or participate in technical reviews of requirements, specifications, designs, codes, and other artifacts.
• Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks
• Lead the preparation of deliverable and products such as calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, and cost estimates related to heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC), and plumbing
• Work under supervision of Engineering Head
• Deliver complete, accurate, and coordinated project design assignments within time and budget parameters while satisfying client contractual obligations
• Maintain and organize all project-related documentation
• Work independently and make technical decisions based on building code interpretation
• Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
• Responsible for maintenance jobs and preventative maintenance
