Freelance - Project Manager

About the Job

Project manager will be deployed on client side within the PMO function (controlling PMO), main responsibilities include:

• Lead project planning sessions
• Coordinate staff and internal resources
• Managing project progress and adapt work as required
• Ensuring projects meet deadlines
• Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Designing and signing off on contracts / deliverables
• Manage some projects as per client requirements (directive PMO role)
• Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation
• Participating in tender process i.e. design, submission and review
• Designing risk mitigation plan
• Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for executive staff
• Optimising and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary
• Securing growth opportunities and initiating new projects

Job Requirements

• 3-5 years of project management is a must
• Engineering, management bachelors degree or equivalent
• PMP is highly preferable
• Fluent English is a must
• Demonstrated leadership and communication abilities
• Flexibility to travel outside Egypt (70% of the time)
• Available to start within a month
• 6 months project, to be extended to 1 year (or more) depending on performance
