Freelance - Civil Site Engineer - Waste Heat Recovery Project

Responsibilities:

• Review the civil construction drawings including concrete and steel buildings
• Statutory compliance especially Egyptian codes for construction and quality standards, safety and Environment Regulation.
• Review of WHR power plant civil construction engineering e.g. Design, layouts, general arrangement, calculation notes, method of statements etc.
• Oversee/review of necessary interfaces between other sections, systems to main power plant equipment’s.
• Define the obstacles which is out of the scope of main contractor and prepare the needed scope with best techno-commercial study to define the best way forward.
• Oversee /review WHR power plant power distribution/co-ordination scheme.
• Civil construction of WHR Power Plant and understanding of site safety requirements
• Co-ordination with inter departments /vendors/contractors etc.
• Daily and weekly reporting to the Civil Resident engineer.
• Execute the Project as per the execution plan.
• Checking the contractor’s bills.
• Quality inspection at site and contractors works.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil construction with 10 yrs. Experience
• Experience in Engineering and Installation of Power Plants/process plants is desirable.
• Demonstrated experience in project management, problem solving and creativity, decision making process in teamwork
• Fluency in English
