Electrical Quality Control Engineer

Job Description

• Review the code, specifications and processes to follow and apply them.
• Ensure that all equipment and tools are calibrated according to the equipment inspection schedule.
• Develop a quality control plan, the necessary tests, and the date of periodic checks, Follow up non-conformance cases on a regular basis
• Ensure that all site quality control documents are verified and, in its place, such as ITR's, work instructions, test reports, checklists, etc.
• Coordinate, maintains and establishes the Quality program/plan within the Project.
• Provide overall document management of processes, compliance and standard operating procedures.
• Prepare, manage, and audit function of safety and quality compliance.
• Corporate, Customer, ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 18001 regulations.
• Plan within the contract working with the core team to identify needs and develop/implement solutions in a proactive manner.
• Assist in the preparation of project´s submittals.
• Responsible for the auditing function to ensure compliance with all tests and inspections.
• Audit competency and best practices ensuring compliancy for all construction staff.
• Represent the Project during quality assurance audits conducted by client, management or regulatory agencies.
• Evaluate the adequacy of all quality standards put in place.
• Document and capture all audits and other quality assurance activities.
• Collect and compile statistical quality data analyzing it to identify areas of improvement.
• Following up with recommendations for corrective actions.
• Providing solutions to problems that appear during implementation.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical Department) at least good overall estimate.
• At least 5 years of experience in contracting field as an electrical QC engineer.
• TQM or equivalent is preferable.
• Computer skills: Distribution – AutoCAD – Etab or Relux or Dialux – PLC, Scada.
• Presentation and communication skills.
• Must be a permanent resident of Greater Cairo.
