COO

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead development of major partnerships with the bank and large e-commerce players for product launch and aggressively pursue other partners/client development.
• Set up and lead Genify’s non-tech ops for product launch (expand team, upgrade legal set up, ...)
• Supervise Cairo software dev. Team (3 developers) with support of dev. lead (process management only)
• Contribute to product roadmap definition based on client or user feedback
• Lead Genify’s participation in the AUC VL fintech acceleration program

Job Requirements

• 5+ years experience in financial services (retail preferred), consulting, software sales, or cross-functional role at a fintech or relevant startups
• Affinity with tech in addition to business/strategy/product/ops a big plus
• Experience with the product or technical project mgmt. A plus but no software dev. experience required
• Experience in the Egyptian market a must: ideally within financial / telco / ride-hailing sectors
• Team management experience a must (5+ people)
• Ability to manage a complex external stakeholder map of clients, corporate partners, advisors
• High levels of ownership, drive, process management, communication (outreach, pitch, negotiate)
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with constant iteration
