About the Job

Organise and supervise the operation and maintenance activities within a specific area of the Water Treatment system in an efficient way in accordance with the approved procedures, as well as achieving high staff performance in the water system.

• Supervises the day-to-day operations and maintenance activities of the raw Water and waste water Treatment to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures.
• Assure safe and accurate operational practices of Water Treatment System (Demi Units, Desalination units, RO units & Effluent units) in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) to achieve work with high performance.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to Water Treatment and WWTP employees in order to enhance individual and team performance.
• Review the section daily & monthly chemical consumption tracking, re-adjust the chemical dosing, and monitor the department chemical budget to be within budgeted limit.
• Securing the Raw Water supply to the plant and assure plant safe operation without interruption.
• Assure the laboratory QA/QC test samples are followed; valid and repeatable according to the approved SOP, for controlling and a adjusting the water treatment process parameters to be within the required operating limits
