Back End Developer

About the Job

• A backend developer works alongside front end developers, full stack developers, programmers or UX specialists to create comprehensive digital solutions for business needs. They make sure the website is scalable and that it can still function when hit by large loads—be that traffic or demanding scripts. They are also tasked with maintaining and testing existing back end elements to ensure they’re as fast and efficient as possible. Data storage also comes under their remit, which requires them to have a good knowledge of data security and compliance.
  
• Work with developers to design algorithms and flowcharts
• Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
• Integrate software components and third-party programs
• Verify and deploy programs and systems
• troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
• Gather and evaluate user feedback
• Recommend and execute improvements
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting

Job Requirements

• 3+ Years of experience
• Degree in Computer Science is preferable but not a requirement.
• Strong organizational and team playing skills.
• Proficiency in server-side languages; PHP or Node.js are a must. Both are preferred.
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Postgress, and MongoDB.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
