Job Description
Aim of the job:
- To ensure fulfillment of school policies and concepts.
- To ensure excellent results in General/ Standardized Exams.
Specialization:
- To be responsible for school management in all aspects… technical, administrative and regularity of operation.
Planning:
- To set up the plan for developing curricula and teaching methods.
- To set up the plan for co-curricular activities and integration between different subjects and activities.
- To set up the plan for training and raising the performance standards of faculty and staff.
- To help set up the school marketing plan and the admitted candidates for the following school year.
- To set up the plan for developing direction and evaluation methods.
- To assist the Managing Director in all matters.
Organizing…… Directing…. Evaluating
Technical Affairs:
- To distribute responsibilities, specialization and supervision of faculty members’ performance.
- To head the Time Table Committee and ensure its implementation, throughout the academic year.
- To continuously follow up staff performance with the aim of upgrading any deficiencies and weaknesses.
- To be responsible for the approval of curricula monthly distribution through the academic year.
- To follow up and implement resolutions and instructions received by the Managing Director and ensure its acknowledgment by the concerned staff.
- To follow up staff day-to-day work.
- To approve the distribution of co-curricular activities plan.
- To be responsible for the general supervision of aiding programs decided for weak pupils.
Administration Affairs:
- To apply penalty acts as per School Penalty Regulations.
- To submit teachers’ and student evaluation reports to the Managing Director every semester.
- To prepare a yearly report on the school performance to be presented to the Managing Director, clarifying the following:
- Work punctuality, attendance, holiday and sick leaves and how to overcome them.
- Teachers’ Evaluation reports
- A list of high achieving students and students with disciplinary problems.
- Statistics of final Exam results of students, showing areas of weakness and those of strength.
- The advancement of technical operation and its computability with the covered curricula throughout the school year.
Job Requirements
- 10-15 years experience in educational field including: Head of Department, School Deputy and/or Headteacher positions.
- Diploma of Educational Studies
- M.A in Educational Management (preferable)
