(Senior) Jakarta EE Developer (f/m/d)

After successfully setting up a team in Cameroon last year, we now want to continue growing and are looking for the best (Senior) Jakarta EE Developers out there. Together with you, we want to advance the backend of our innovative product in an agile team.

We are an international team with a German head office, currently expanding around the globe. Our goal is to bring new possibilities to the insurance industry with the tech11 Insurance Platform

At tech11, your job description as a Jakarta EE Developer is designed to allow you to grow professionally in a dynamic environment.

Tasks

• Develop, discuss and take responsibility for solution designs
• Product development based on latest technologies
• Development of microservices on Quarkus
• Project work: IT consulting, system integration
• Acquisition of expertise in the insurance IT industry

Requirements

• Very good knowledge of JAVA EE / Jakarta EE (JPA, CDI, EJB, JAX-RS)
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript (ES6/7)
• Experience with different open-source frameworks, testing and DevOps tools
• Good knowledge of relational databases
• Ideally: Basic knowledge of BPMN (Camunda BPM)
• Experience in REST architectures and microservices
• Strong technology focus
• Code Quality awareness
• Good communication and presentation skills
• High motivation & personal initiative
