Our client is a large NSW Government organization who are seeking Solution Architect to join their team.
The role builds and maintains a holistic view of the organisational strategy, processes, information and information technology assets, ensuring that the business and ICT are in alignment, and links the business mission, strategy and processes of an organisation to its ICT strategy.
The role provides a clear picture of how an organisational existing and future ICT requirements may be accomplished in an effective, agile, sustainable and flexible manner.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide high-level strategic advice and develop financial and business case models to assess technologies and assist in the prioritisation of future investment in ICT systems and processes to support business objectives and the business eco-system.2. Lead all phases of enterprise architecture development, defining scope, modelling systems, analysing requirements and planning implementations in support of business objectives to enable the business to become operationally efficient and effective.3. Develop ICT architectures, standards and models that support the implementation of the ICT strategy for the organisation and provide architectural leadership in the resolution of inter-program and interproject issues, including cyber security Translate business practices and processes into architectures to enable delivery of appropriate solutions.4. Provide guidance and direction for design and implementation of development frameworks and design patterns for consumption across multiple development teams.5. Undertake high-level research, horizon scanning and analysis to identify future ICT trends, and assess and explain the value of existing investments and emerging technologies and their applicability to support business objectives.6. Role model, promote and actively demonstrate the five ways of leading behaviours to deliver organisational outcomes for our customers, our people and communities for the Greater Good.
Selection Criteria:
1. Demonstrated knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and Data domain practices, patterns, and standards, with general knowledge of the other EA domains.2. Demonstrated experience working at a senior or executive level in a complex organisation delivering specialist and authoritative advice to executive leadership.3. Working knowledge of business analysis processes to identify opportunities and risk management.4. Excellent problem solving, analytical and highly developed communications skills.5. Demonstrated understanding of cloud-based solutions and as a service architectures
On offer is a 13 month contract at a highly sought after NSW Government organization, with a highly competitive daily rate.
