- Up to $990 per day
- 4-month Contract Role
Our client is a large NSW Government organization who are seeking Service Designerto join their team.
The Service Designer works closely with NSW Government Partner Agencies and DCS stakeholders to deliver new products and services for the citizens of NSW. Working as part of an Agile Delivery team, this role is responsible for driving an agile delivery process, including discovery workshop and interview facilitation, user research and story mapping to work toward solution design and delivery.
As part of the Department s (DCS) commitment to provide a great customer experience whenever citizens interact with the NSW Government, the Digital Accelerator (DNA) focuses on understanding customer needs using a human centred design approach. The DNA team sees NSW government collaborate with citizens to co-design public services and products that are smart, simple and seamless.
Selection Criteria:
- A deep understanding of design thinking principals and experience working with agile methodologies.
- A portfolio of work that includes samples from all areas of service design (customer journey maps, wireframes, prototypes etc.
- Passion for digital and the possibilities it brings for clients.
- The ability to thrive in an agile environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to communicate honestly, openly and are focussed on exceeding client expectations.
- Able to work well independently with clients, as a project lead or as an individual team member.
- A degree in design related discipline
- Demonstrated extensive experience in user experience design or related field. Plus, basic business analyst and consulting skill, including engaging business clients and capturing requirements, identifying gaps and collecting information.
- The ability to work under high pressure and tight timeframes.
On offer is a 4 month contract at a highly sought after NSW Government organization, with a highly competitive daily rate.
