A shopfitting company based on the Gold Coast are looking for a 1st year apprentice to join there team. They specialise in food shop fit-outs, including restaurants, cafes, food courts and fast food outlets.
Why chose shopfitting? You get to learn a combination of trades in this industry including cabinetmaking, joinery, carpentry and fit-outs.
You will be working for a company that has a dynamic team, so we are looking for the right fit.
This position does involve travel (can include overnight stays at company expense) so you must be willing to travel with the team.
Being an industry that has tight time constraints, you may also be required to work some nights/weekends, so if you are chasing a normal 8-4 factory role, then keep searching as this may not be for you.
BUT if you are wanting to learn a trade from like-minded, skilled and professional shopfitters, then this is the right opportunity for you!
Requirements
You must have
- A great attitude and be willing to learn and take instructions
- Have a drivers licence and vehicle to be able to get to work
- White card
- Be willing to undertake studies through TAFE (or approved provider)
- Be committed to an apprenticeship
