A family run business that has a trusted reputation for our innovation in design and for providing a superior product to their clients are looking for Apprentices who are motivated and havea passion for woodworking.
This is a permanent full-time position and is an open age!
Do your apprenticeship in a friendly team environment where we work together to achieve the same goal and produce the finest solid timber doors, windows and custom designed work.
They specialise in the manufacturing of architectural designed timber shutters, windows, doors, so no 2 jobs are the same. You will learn to be a craftsman/woman in your trade.
Requirements
The successful applicantsfor the apprenticeshipwould need to have the following skills:
- Completed Grade 12 with a pass in Mathematics and English
- Can follow direction from team tradesmen and be a team player
- Courteous to other staff and customers
- Be able to cope with the physical demands of the job
- Punctual and Reliable
- Must be able to work a 38 hour week with 2 hours overtime on a regular basis
- Have integrity and show a consistent and uncompromising adherence to strong moral and ethical principles and values
- Have transport to the factory in Sumner
