Role On behalf of our client, a multinational company into themanufacture, supply and maintenance of Gas Compressors and SteamTurbines, we are recruiting an experienced Technical ServiceManager to be based in the UAE. Reporting to theTechnical Service Director who sits outside of UAE yourresponsibilities will include;
Acting as the technicalfocal point servicing both internal and external customers. Providing leadership and direction to technical serviceengineers. Developing a customer responsive technicalservices staff, to effectively execute associated requirements tomaximize customer satisfaction and the companies businesssuccess.
Providing field service and service centressupport for major projects and overhauls. Managing priorities,schedules and related resource issues. Providingtechnical support in a timely manner to develop solutions to fieldtechnical problems, participate in root cause failure analysis,conduct engineering studies, and provide direct technical supportto field service, service centres or customers.
Planning, performing, and directing major investigations, projectsand related activities which require independent action anddecision and can have a major financial impact with respect towarranty and company liability. Visiting customers andequipment installation sites to obtain information to troubleshootproblems. Performing liaison function with otherengineering departments on the specification, manufacturing,assembly, material quality, testing, repair, performance andoperation for assigned products. Includes consulting with servicegroups on re-rates, defective parts, new part orders, engineeringstudies and design changes. etc. Requirements
Candidates must be Mechanical Engineers and have at least years of experience working in Field Service for Gas Compressorsand or Stream Turbines with the relevant Customerinteractions.
